A Praja Foundation report has revealed that the police force deployed for the security of Mumbaikars is 30 percent less than the sanctioned posts. The Mumbai Police Force currently has a strength of 52,000, compared to which only 36,425 policemen are working in the Mumbai Police Force as of July.
