Municipal servants did not keep promises made in BMC elections, Shiv Sena talked about ‘Pitt Free Mumbai’
In the 2017 BMC elections, the Shiv Sena had promised to make Mumbai pothole-free, the BJP to provide 24-hour water, and the Congress-NCP to formulate a policy for hawkers. But the corporators of these parties did not pay much attention to these issues. These remained as ‘election promises’. Now BMC elections are to be held in February 2022 and these parties will once again make the same promises to the public and the public will be cheated once again. The Praja Foundation has presented an account of what political parties had made to Mumbaikars in their manifestos and how many they fulfilled.
