Vacancy for the post of Translators of Hindi (Hindi to English) and Marathi (Marathi to English) on Freelance basis at Praja Foundation
About Praja Foundation
Founded in 1998, Praja Foundation is a Mumbai-based non-partisan voluntary organization which empowers the citizen to participate in governance by providing knowledge and enlisting people’s participation. Praja aims to provide ways, in which the citizen can get politically active and involved beyond the ballot box, thus promoting transparency and accountability. Praja Foundation works towards four core sectors in Mumbai’s development and issues faced by ‘Aam Mumbaikar’ namely: Education, Health, Civic and Crime, and publishes regular reports on the same. This mainly involves working with the elected representatives and the administration.
The Hindi Translator will be translating data from Hindi to English and Marathi Translator will be translating from Marathi to English.
Experience
Fresher or with 2-3 years experience preferably in the translation field
