The NGO Praja Foundation has published its report on ‘State of Policing and Law & Order in Mumbai’. As per the report, Crimes registered for molestation in Mumbai increased by 172% and rape by 235%, while cases of kidnapping and abduction saw a 650% increase in registration in 2021, as compared to 2012.
