Offenders in 100% rape cases under POCSO known to victims; 524 cases reported in 2021
Offenders in all cases registered in the city under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 were known to the Victims in some capacity or the other, research conducted by the Praja Foundation stated.
