GOVERNANCE & CLIMATE ACTION FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME 2026 – ASSAM (COHORT 2)

Following the successful completion of Cohort 1, Praja Foundation is excited to launch Cohort 2 of the Governance & Climate Action Fellowship Programme in Assam. Praja’s Governance & Climate Action Fellowship Programme offers young citizens a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in urban governance and climate action by working closely with elected representatives, city administrations, and key government stakeholders. Through research, fieldwork, and direct engagement with governance processes, fellows develop a practical understanding of how cities function, how public services are delivered, and how citizens can play an active role in strengthening local democracy. The fellowship enables participants to build expertise in urban governance, municipal finance, climate action, public policy, and civic engagement while contributing meaningfully towards creating more accountable, inclusive, and climate-resilient cities.
